Sarah Rosario, the newest member of the KATC News Team, became a General Assignment Reporter during the Spring of 2009.
A Tampa, Florida native, Rosario comes to South Louisiana from WABG in Greenville, Mississippi.
Sarah holds a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast News from the University of South Florida.
After graduation she moved to Tallahassee for a job opportunity and ended up interning at Capitol News Service, working with eleven different stations in Florida. This is where Sarah got motivated, perfected her writing and interviewing skills, and decided to actively search for a job in Broadcasting.
Four months later, Sarah accepted the Greenwoods Bureau Chief position which opened at WABG.
Over the years she has had the pleasure of interviewing many notable people including B.B.King, Bill Cosby, and Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour.
During her spare time Sarah Rosario enjoys the company of her family, running, shopping, singing, dancing, traveling, and spending time with her boyfriend.
