MONROE, La. (AP) - When the New Orleans Saints won a Super Bowl
berth, it tied up cell phone lines at the other end of the state.
Monroe residents say there was a flurry of missed calls and text
messages a few minutes after the game.
AT&T spokeswoman Sue Sperry says just about everyone in the
state was calling or texting just after the game.
She says the bottleneck lasted only the first minute or two
after the game.
