One woman from St. Mary Parish says she is the biggest Saints fan-- a belief that is supported by a giant collection of Saints items.
Marilyn Burgess started her collection 35 years ago, and now it takes up the whole first floor of her home.
"It was like an obsession, everything that's Saints I'd buy-- it's kid of ridiculous, people though it was crazy but here I am," she says.
It all started in the 70's with a limited edition painting. Since then, she has bought all kinds of items, from more typical memorabilia like jerseys to unique items like kitchenware, bathroom decor and even a vending machine.
All of her gifts are Saints items as well.
Her most valuable pieces are signed footballs. Her most sentimental piece is a rockinghorse, given as a gift for her son's first birthday.
Her latest purchase, of course, is a pair of superbowl tickets.
Although seems to have it all, she is not going to stop adding to her collection anytime soon.
"My kids tease me-- they say boy, mom when you're gone, Ebay's gonna have fun," she says.
She hopes to expand her porch, creating more space for the Saints.
