Rouses' 38th to be in former Cadillac dealership

HOUMA, La. (AP) Rouses will open its 38th store in the former Sewell Cadillac dealership in downtown New Orleans.
Rouses Markets co-owner Donald Rouse says the project is scheduled to start construction in August and be finished by the end of next year.
He tells The Courier that the new store will serve the Warehouse District, Central Business District, the Marigny and other downtown areas, including Saints fans tailgating by the Superdome.
Rouse told the newspaper last week that about 150 people will work in the 45,000-square-foot store.
