ROSEPINE, La. (AP) - State police detectives have arrested a 34-year-old Rosepine man after executing a search warrant at his home.
Troopers say the warrant was the result of an Internet Crimes Against Children investigation initiated earlier this year.
Investigators say an examination of a laptop computer at Shaun Mueller's home revealed the presence of images of sexually exploited children.
In an interview with state police detectives, Mueller allegedly admitted to downloading child pornography and to committing lewd and lascivious acts on his 9-year-old daughter.
Mueller was arrested for pornography involving juveniles as well as indecent behavior with juveniles.
He was booked last week into the Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office Jail. His bond was set at $35,000.
It could not be determined if Mueller has an attorney.
