Roads Shut Down Saturday for Helicopter Hoist

Saturday, there will be a spectacle in the air off Kaliste Saloom Road. Helicopter crews will be lifting some large air conditioning units onto a roof at the Riverstone Building.
Police are closing some streets around the building at 625 Kaliste Saloom Road. Crews are using a Sikorsky S-64 helicopter to lift the AC units onto the building. The helicopter is one largest in the world and has come from Oregon for the job.
The lifting will start Saturday September 11, at 8:00 a.m.
