Road Closed: Opelousas, detours given

Beginning Wednesday, November 4, 2009, LA 3043 will be closed ½ mile north of its South Junction with LA 104 in Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, for railroad repairs. Work will begin at 8:00 a.m. and is expected to last until 5:00 p.m., weather permitting. The detour will consist of LA 104.
Beginning Thursday, November 5, 2009, LA 182 SB (Main Street) will be closed .4 mile North of its intersection with US 190 (Landry Street) in Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, for railroad repairs. Work will begin at 9:00 a.m. and is expected to last until 5:00 p.m., weather permitting. The detour will consist of US 167, LA 749 and US 190.
