Road Closed: La 93 from Lafayette to Cankton

Beginning Wednesday, November 4, 2009, La 93 in St. Landry Parish from the Lafayette Parish Line to the North city limits of Cankton will have intermittent lane closures for the next two months, weather permitting, while crews cold plane the existing asphaltic concrete pavement, patch, stabilize the base course, and overlay the project.

This closure will allow vehicles 12-feet wide or smaller to pass through the construction zone. Road is open for regular traffic but will be restricted to oversized loads beginning 11/4/09.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
