Right Now: UL Awaiting Official Announcement on Bowl

A pep rally is being held at Leon Moncla Indoor Pracitice Facility to announce which bowl UL will be headed to. It all kicks off at 5:30 tonight.

The invitation will mark the first bowl appearance for Cajuns football team in 41 years with the last appearance coming in 1970 when Louisiana faced Tennessee State in the Grantland Rice Bowl.

The Pride of Acadiana, UL Cheerleaders and Ragin' Jazz will be on hand along with University President Dr. Joseph Savoie and Director of Athletics Scott Farmer.

Fans that are unable to be in attendance can watch the proceedings steamed live online at RaginCajuns.com.

Then Tuesday morning, KATC's GMA crew will be out at Cajun Field along with Coach Hud.

Everyone is welcome to join in on the celebration
