Reward Offered For The Capture Of Abbeville Suspect

Lafayette, LA - The Abbeville Police Department and the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force are seeking information from the public as to Jamaal Diggs' location. Diggs is Wanted for 2nd Degree Murder; those charges stemmed from a homicide that occurred in Abbeville on December 10, 2009 where Diggs allegedly shot D'Jacqney Mitchell multiple times. Diggs' mother, Mary Diggs was arrested today by the Abbeville Police Department and US Marshals for Accessory After the Fact. Investigators believe that Diggs is likely in the Abbeville area and a cash award has been established for information leading to Diggs' arrest.

The attached photo is a recent photo of Diggs; however, he may have cut his "dreadlocks" in an effort to alter his appearance.

DIGGS should be considered Armed and Dangerous.
