We start this week T-Coons Restaurant located at 1900 A West Pinhook.
Their last inspection was October 8th.
17 total violations were found
Health inspectors say they found employees not washing their hands at appropriate times.
Also raw meat was found not separated from ready to eat food or from other raw meats to prevent cross contamination.
Next on our list this week is Louisiana's Oldest Cajun restaurant, Don Seafood and Steakhouse, located in downtown Lafayette at 301 East Vermillion.
Their last inspection was July 31st.
Health inspectors found 20 total violations.
Inspectors report, employees were found here as well not washing their hands at appropriate times.
Potentially hazardous foods were not properly thawed, and raw meats were placed or stored above ready to eat food.
Finally this week we come to Zeus Downtown located at 431 Jefferson St, whose last inspection was september tenth
on their last inspection health inspectors found 0 critical violations.
That makes Zeus Downtown a C'est Bon Restaurant Award winner.
All violations from both T-coon's and Don's Seafood were corrected that same day.
All 3 restaurants remain in good standing with the Department of Health and Hospitals.
