We start this week with Serrano's at 3151 Johnston Street, whose last inspection was August 28th.
11 total violations were found 5 were critical.
Soap was found in the shrimp pans.
Food was prepared/packaged/held under unsanitary conditions.
Flies were found in the restaurant, but to their credit they were trying to fix the problem, unfortunately the inspector putting the fly tape over the dishes was unacceptable. The report does indicate the violations were corrected the same day.
Next we move now to the Golden Wok located at 523 Bertrand Drive, whose last inspection was September 28th.
17 total violations were found 7 critical.
Raw pieces of meat weren't separated to prevent cross contamination.
The ice machine was not clean to sight or touch.
Unlabeled chemicals were stored with and above food. The report does indicate the violations were corrected the same day as the inspection.
But all wok's aren't made equally.
Take the Magic Wok at 2944 Johnston St.
On their last inspection, done September 16th, the Magic Wok had no critical violations.
They're our first ever C'est Bon Restaurant Award Winner.
