Resigned Mamou officer employed by Ville Platte police

It turns out, the Mamou Police Officer who resigned after a mentally disabled woman was tased, is an officer in Ville Platte. Brent Zachery has been a part-time officer at the Ville Platte Police Dept. since 2010. Zachery resigned last week from the Mamou Police Dept. after Mamou Police Chief Greg Dupuis and Mayor Ricky Fontenot called a disciplinary meeting.
On May 19, 2012 Stacey Taylor was tased and arrested for disturbing the peace and tampering with a neighbor's property. The family disputes the charges, but they don't dispute that she was uncooperative with police.
