Terri Hunley manages the video store in Pine Prairie and says Brian and Anna Solieau were regular customers and always seemed friendly. She says no one thought they would be accused of robbing a bank at gun point.
"It shattered a little piece of paradise here. Where people would leave doors unlocked their starting to be more cautious," said Hunley.
It's a small town, nearly everyone knows everyone. Hunley says people are still on edge two days after the bank robbery. KATC stopped by the bank, workers didn't want to go on camera but they say they're still traumatized.
"With the economy and lack of jobs people are going to get desperate and do desperate things," said Hunley.
The Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating whether Brian Soileau is the same suspect in a crime two weeks ago. Someone tried to break into Julie Ordner's store "Shaim's Bait and Tackle." The surveillance video shows a burglar using a back hoe trying to steal the ATM machine.
"I didn't think of it being the same suspect, but it did cross my mind. It was just unexpected for it to happen as close as it did," said Ordner.
