The program stands for "Dedicated, Accountable and Dependable Dads" and includes 12 group sessions that offer interactive and therapeutic education about various parenting topics. Program coordinators facilitate the coaching and fathers' use of the information taught in the sessions.
Interested dads can sign up by downloading an application at www.cppj.net/dadprogram and bringing the completed form to the Multi-Purpose Annex Center to talk with a representative about the program. They can also fill out applications on site at the Annex located on 2001 Moeling Street, Lake Charles, LA. Applications are being accepted now through December 13th.
Sessions include topics such as:
· What kind of DAD do you want to be?
· Children's Development
· Child Safety
