Residential burglary investigated in St. Landry

This week St. Landry Crime Stoppers needs your help in solving a residential burglary that happened near the Lewisburg area.

On November 16, 2011, St. Landry Sheriff's Deputies responded to a call at 625 Jessie Richard Road in reference to a break in. Upon arrival, it was discovered that someone had kicked in the back door to gain entry into the residence. Once inside closet doors and dresser drawers had been opened. Jewelry, such as black onyx earrings, sapphire earrings, diamond earrings, diamond and sapphire chains, and a gold solitaire ¼ carat diamond wedding band were also taken. Also missing were St. Landry Homestead and Wood Forest bank account bankbooks.
