Reported Runaway Returns Home

Reported runaway, Desiree deLaunay of Lafayette is now home.
Her mother alerted KATC that Desiree returned home around 11:00 Sunday morning with the help of friends and news reports.
Desiree is only 15 years old and was reported as a runaway after she was last seen January 5th around 10am, leaving Lafayette High with another student.
Her mother did not say where she was or why she ran away.
