Rep. Charlie Melancon Comments On MLK Day

Baton Rouge, LA - Rep. Charlie Melancon today released the following statement on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day:
"Today we remember not only the contributions of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., to the long struggle for civil rights, but the contributions made by countless others toward the fulfillment of the same dream. Dr. King's life reminds us that even in the face of long odds and difficult circumstances, one person can indeed change the world-and there's no telling what we can achieve if we all work together toward the same goal."
