CROWLEY, La. - Registration and orientation for GED classes at two of SLCC's campuses will be held in April. Registration will be held at the Acadian Campus in Crowley on April 22, and at the Gulf Area Campus in Abbeville on April 23. Both will start at 8 a.m. but students are asked to arrive at 7:45 a.m.
Adults ages 18 and older who do not have a high school diploma or who have taken the GED test but not successfully passed should apply.
Those learners who have passed some parts of the GED within the last five years are reminded that the GED test is changing in 2014. All scores for people who have not completely passed the GED will become invalid when the test changes.
Those interested should bring a picture ID, social security card, and pencils.
For more information, please call the Acadian Campus at (337) 521-8114 or the Gulf Area Campus at (337) 521-4833.
