Food trucks from around the area have parked themselves right in front of E's Kitchen here in Lafayette, to show people what it truly means to be the 'Tastiest Town of the South'.
To showcase the best of Lafayette's food trucks, a 'Food Truck Roundup' was held over at Parc Lafayette, and no one could be more excited than Trey Petitjean. Petitjean says, "A friend of mine and I have a thing about trying to find all the weird local places, so whenever we heard the food truck business was starting to come into town we got really excited about it."
The popular 'Viva La Waffle' was on hand, along with some relative newcomers.
Petitjean was excited to attend today's roundup, and the chance to try some new dishes. Petitjean says, "Out of these four I've only had Viva La Waffle and Oh My Taco when they were around. Bon Repas when they were still in town. It's nice to see we have a couple more trucks instead of one running around town."

Dwayne Guidry says that having a mobile business makes all the difference. "I can go where the people are, and that's why you're seeing all of these food trucks."
With both businesses and customers using social media in this new era of mobile business...if you drive it, they will come.
