Ready for Red, White & Boom!

If you and your family are looking for something to do for the 4th of July, KATC is teaming up with the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra to host Red, White & Boom this afternoon.

This year's event has expanded to all three Downtown Lafayette parcs.

Parc International will have a live performance from Chubby Carrier and the Bayou Swamp Band, food and drinks, and raffles to name just a few.

Parc Sans Souci will host a number of kid friendly events, including a patriotic costume contest and wagon decorating contest. Parc Putnam is Freedom Fest and will be full of live performances.

Doors open at 5 P.M. and the firework grand finale is at 9 P.M. Tickets are $5.00 and that gets you into all three parks.
