Rayville man killed in Richland Parish accident

RAYVILLE, La. (AP) - A Rayville man died after being ejected from his vehicle in a Richland Parish traffic accident.
State police say the victim was traveling west on La. Highway 622 Thursday night when the car ran off the right side of the road and struck a ditch embankment. The car then continued until it struck a fence and overturned several times.
The News-Star reports that the driver was 36-year-old James C. Arnold of Rayville. Arnold was ejected from the car. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Richland Parish Coroner's Office.
