Rayne Woman Killed in Car Crash

On April 20, 2010, at 12:45am, officers with the Carencro Police Department responded to a single vehicle crash in the 3400 Block of N.W. Evangeline Thruway.
April Fusilier, 34, of Rayne, Louisiana was heading south on I-49. For unknown reasons, the vehicle veered off roadway right, which caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle, causing the vehicle to travel through a ditch and overturn. The driver sustained fatal injuries.
