(Oklahoma City) - Aaron McClasky of Rayne was recently named one of the six finalists to travel to Las Vegas on Oct. 2-8 and compete in SONIC Drive-In's "So You Think You Can Skate" finals competition, presented by Dr Pepper® and RC Sports®. McClasky will be showing off his skating ability in front of a panel of judges for a chance to win the gold medal and SONIC bragging rights.
"So You Think You Can Skate is a way to showcase SONIC's most talented skating Carhops - the skating Carhop service is unique to SONIC and it is a way for us to highlight our crew member's talent," said John Salama, vice president of training. "Skating adds an element of fun and lightheartedness that both our crew members and customers really love."
McClasky was selected from a number of video entries from skating crew members across the country. All finalists are awarded an all expense paid trip to Las Vegas to compete in the finals competition. Crew members were asked to submit a two-minute video showcasing their best skating skills and a panel of judges from SONIC Drive-In selected the six finalists.
