NEW ORLEANS (AP) - A man fatally shot in eastern New Orleans
this week has been identified as Argell White, a rapper known as
"Twelve A'Klok."
John Gagliano, chief investigator for the city coroner's office,
tells The Times-Picayune that the 36-year-old White died early
Monday after he was shot multiple times in the back.
Police said a newspaper deliverer found him lying on the ground
outside an apartment complex. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No suspects were immediately identified.
White recorded several albums for Cut Throat Committy record
label, which was co-founded by his late cousin James Tapp, a rapper
known as "Soulja Slim."
