Its been another warm day as highs have reached the mid 80s. Southerly flow has returned yet high pressure remains settled over the central Gulf. The potential for fog will once again be a factor late into early Saturday morning. Take caution if you have to commute during this time.
A low pressure system out of the central plains is expected to move into Acadiana Sunday and will slightly increasing rain chances. This will allow a front to enter the region and stall out over the northern Gulf. This will keep the chance for showers and a few thunderstorms not only Sunday but also Monday. A dry pattern will return on Tuesday with seasonably normal temps for the remainder of the work week.
