LAFAYETTE - With so many chasing great deals on Black Friday, the Ragin' Cajuns have decided to spread the savings into Red Saturday by taking a bite into holiday spending with free admission to young fans under 12 years of age for the Saturday, November 28th football game against Troy University at Cajun Field.

"This is a big game for the Ragin' Cajuns and a big weekend for holiday shoppers," said David Walker, UL Athletic Director. "We want to give our fans an early break from the holiday spending with free admission to our young fans."

Young fans are encouraged to wear red for Red Saturday. The gates to Cajun Field open at 4:30 with the game starting at 6 p.m. McDonald's will be handing out free Ragin' Cajuns Cheerstix to the first fans in the gate.

"It is also a game where recognize our seniors," said Scott Farmer, Senior Associate Athletic Director. "We have 20 superb senior student-athletes who will be walking through the tunnel of Cajun Field for the last time and we want a fan-filled send off for them."

The Ragin' Cajuns go into this Saturday's game with a 6 -5 record and a win over Troy University could mean a post-season bowl appearance for the team. Tickets may be purchased at the game. The ticket booth at Gate C opens at 10 a.m. and the remaining ticket booths open at 12 noon.
