Ragin' Cajuns and Acadian Companies Set to Kick-Off Lemonade Day in Lafayette

Lemonade Day Louisiana sponsors and partners will kick off Lemonade Day in Lafayette at a special press conference hosted at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Indoor Practice Facility. Acadian Companies President & CEO/Lemonade Day City Champion Richard Zuschlag and Parish President Joey Durel, will join UL Head coach Mark Hudspeth, Superintendent Dr. Pat Cooper, Lafayette Chamber President & CEO Jason El Koubi, Community Foundation of Acadiana Representative Raymond Hebert, and dozens of metro youth to announce the official kick-off of the event in Lafayette.

Lemonade Day Louisiana is a free, statewide program dedicated to teaching children how to start, own and operate their own business through the simple and time-honored act of building and running a lemonade stand. Young entrepreneurs are provided with free, detailed support materials to help them establish their lemonade stand on Lemonade Day, Saturday, May 3rd. Lemonade Day Louisiana was founded by entrepreneurs Todd Graves and John Georges in 2010 and has reached more than 50,000 kids.
