Ragin' Cajun White Out

The swamp will be painted white tonight as Cajun fans take the national spotlight again. For fans tonights match up is all about pulling out your "best white" to help white out Cajun Field as the team take on Sun Belt powerhouse Troy.

Ragin' Cajun fans are always ready for game day but there's even more enthusiasm for tonights game.

"I'm excited but I actually have to go buy a white shirt because all my Ragin' Cajuns stuff is red and black," said Student James Veillon.

Assistant Athletic Marketing Director Eric Maron says he expects a big crowd because it's a white out and the game will be televised on ESPN.

"We've been very creative with our signage we've put up on campus so instead of saying there's a game on Thursday we're doing things like putting up signs that say be a reality star on ESPN come to the game," said Maron.

With ESPN broadcasting to a national audience, the pressure is on and fans are pumped up. Everywhere you look, fans will be sporting Ragin' Cajun pride.

"Because we're doing so well, because we have a coach so lively, because we have a team that's made such a dramatic turn around, because we have fans that are really exciting for others to watch on tv, we're getting more attention more television audiences," said Maron.

Fans have high hopes for tonight, they're not only expecting a win but also hoping this game can help lead them back to a bowl game.

"The crowd and the stadium really does impact our players as we saw last week when they had that big turn around and came back and won the game," said Maron.

"This year is special because we've only lost twice and we're headed back to a bowl game hopefully with a couple wins," said Maron.

The game is tonight at 6:30p.m. so put on your best white and grab your friends for some Ragin Cajun fun!
