RUSTON, La. (AP) - Louisiana Tech University's alumni, employees, students, faculty and friends will have their own chance this week to size up which candidate they want to take over for retiring President Dan Reneau.
The two finalists in the Louisiana Tech University presidential search are set to be interviewed publicly on the Ruston campus Wednesday.
Les Guice, executive vice president and vice president for research and development at Louisiana Tech, will be interviewed by the search committee at 10:15 a.m. Duane C. Hrncir, acting president of South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, will be interviewed at 1:30 p.m.
On Thursday, the search committee will decide who to recommend to be interviewed by the University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors on Dec. 4 in Baton Rouge.
