Public's assistance sought in identifying casino robbery suspect

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's assistance in identifying a casino robbery suspect.

According to deputies, on Sunday, March 2, at 3:30 a.m., a man entered a casino on Sam Houston Jones Pkwy, in Moss Bluff, brandishing a handgun and demanding money. The suspect fled the store with an undisclosed amount of money on foot heading northwest on N. Perkins Ferry Road, according to deputies. The Sheriff's Office conducted an extensive search of the area, but was unable to locate the suspect.

He is described as white man, approximately 5'9", 160 pounds, wearing a black hoodie, grey camouflage pants, black boots and a black mask covering his face.

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office is asking the public for assistance in identifying this man. Anyone with information regarding the armed robbery or the man shown in the video is asked to call CPSO at 491-3605.
