Public's assistance needed in solving a burglary

St. Landry Crime Stoppers needs your help in gathering any information regarding a break-in at a storage business in Cankton.

On January 17, 2013, the St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office responded to AOK storage off of Hwy 93. The complainant advised detectives the lock from his unit had been cut. Items missing from the unit include a 2009 Honda VTX1300, a John Deer Zero turn lawn mower, an LSU cross runner, a Honda generator, tri-fold stainless steel loading ramps, 4 GMC stock rims and tires and a propane bottle and burner. All items total up to almost $20,000.
