Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office are still looking for a suspect in the death of a Lafayette man who came to a neighbor's help during a burglary on August 26, 2012.
Deputies say Clement Amos III was shot and killed when he went next door to check on his neighbor, who feared someone was trying to break into her home, while his wife called police.
Deputies believe at some point Amos encountered the suspect, who shot and killed him before running off.
The suspect is still on the run. He's described as a black male, about 6 feet tall, thin build, with very short hair and gold teeth on top.
