Public's assistance needed in identifying church burglary suspect

Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's assistance identifying a person that broke into St. Edward Catholic church near Church Point.
The night of June 22 or early morning of June 23 a man broke into St. Edward Church located in the 1400 block of Charlene HWY near Church Point. The suspect forced and gained entry into the church taking the candle base box containing money. If you can identify this person please contact Detective Fruge' at 377.788.8700.
