Public Assistance Sought in Locating Attempted Murder Suspect

The Sunset Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating Langston Mayfield, 22, of 112 Luke Street Grand Coteau La. He is wanted for 3 Counts of Attempted Second Degree Murder and Possession of A Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
On February 20, 2013 the Sunset Police Department received a call about gun shots on Budd Street near the intersection of MLK Drive. Police say Langston Mayfield was arguing with a man. When the man was leaving Langston pulled out a gun and fired several shots at the vehicle that was occupied by 3 people.
The incident is still under investigation and more arrest are expected.
