The Daily Advertiser reports the rules of the Lafayette district attorney's office pre-trial OWI program are blurry. The newspaper's investigation reveals at least 55 OWI arrests were sent to his office for review instead of going to city court.
Of those cases, 28 were requested by District Attorney Mike Harson's administrative assistant who is on administrative leave. Barna Haynes was put on leave last month after an FBI investigation. Click here to read the whole story.
