Port Barre is holding a prayer vigil tonight at the town hall at 6:00 p.m. to show their love and support for all involved in the crash Friday morning.

St. Landry Parish Bus #25 was rear-ended by an 18-wheeler on Highway 190 near King's Truck Stop around 7:30 Friday morning.
The crash left 21 students and the bus driver injured. Three students ranging in age from 5-15 are listed in critical condition. A five year old child has a brain injury.
Other Port Barre High School students were transported to Acadiana hospitals for treatment.
Port Barre Mayor Gil Savoy was filling-in on the route. He was treated at Opelousas General Medical Center and released.
