How you can help:

LifeShare Blood Centers and Opelousas General Hospital will be hosting a blood drive Friday-August 31, 2012 from 10am-5pm. We will be located at the main campus of Opelousas General Hospital in the auditorium of the 3rd floor. Due to Hurricane Isaac, 500 units were cancelled therefore; blood supply is critically low and donors are strongly encouraged to come out and donate. Once again, blood supply is critically low so it is important to come out and donate in order to increase blood supply for this Labor Day weekend.

United Blood Services: Schedule your appointment today online @ www.bloodhero.com to donate blood and help replenish the blood supply at the following location. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are advantageous. Please donate at one of the following locations:
· Lafayette Donor Center, 1503 Bertrand Drive
Extended Hours: Friday- 8:00am-6:30pm, Saturday- 8:00am-4:00pm, Sunday- 8:00am-4:00pm
· Walmart in Crowley: Friday, August 31st from 2pm to 6pm
· Walmart in Broussard: Friday, August 31st from 12pm to 5pm
· Super 1 Foods in Carencro: Saturday, September 1st from 3pm to 6pm
· Super 1 on Ambassador Caffery in Lafayette: Sunday, September 2nd from 12pm to 3pm
