Posados Cafe robbed

On December 22, 2009, at approximately 11:00 pm, officers with the Lafayette Police Department responded to 3822 Ambassador Caffery Parkway regarding a hold up alarm. Officers arrived on scene to discover the employees all in the office area of the business. The victim's stated that two black males wearing black clothing and bandana's covering their faces entered the business by way of the back door. Both suspects were armed with handguns and ordered all of the employees into the office. The suspects were able to steal an undisclosed amount of cash from the office and fled the scene in an unknown direction. There were 4 employees on property at the time of the robbery. No injuries were report from the victims.
Detectives are asking anyone with information about the incident or the identity of the suspects to call the Lafayette Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
