Police: Teenager dies in early morning crash

DENHAM SPRINGS, La. (AP) - Denham Spring police say a 16-year-old boy died in a car crash after a vehicle carrying five people lost control and hit a tree.
Cpl. Tommy Stubbs identified the victim as Julio Gomez-Dominguez of Denham Springs.
The accident happened around 4:30 a.m. Sunday.
Stubbs tells The Advocate four other people in the car suffered moderate to serious injuries but are expected to survive.
