On March 30, 2010, at approximately 1:41 am, officers with the Lafayette Police Department responded to the 100 block of General Mouton regarding a robbery.  The victim, a 20 year old female of Lafayette, had just departed the Bulldog and was walking to her vehicle. As she arrived at her vehicle, a light colored Lincoln Towncar, occupied by two black males, drove up behind her.  The passenger in the suspect vehicle exited and rushed towards the victim.  The suspect struck the victim once in the facial area, knocking her to the ground and grabbing her purse.  The suspect then climbed back into the suspect vehicle and fled the area with the victim’s purse.

The suspects were last seen traveling on General Gardner.  The suspect is described as a slim 5’9” tall black male wearing a black and red stripe shirt with blue jeans.  The purse contained an undisclosed amount of cash and credit cards.  The victim received minor injuries to the facial area.
