Police Seek Publics Assistance to Identify Burglary Suspects

The Morgan City Police Department is seeking assistance from the public in identifying two burglary suspects.

According to police, On May 26th, officers responded to a residential burglary complaint in the 400 block of Seventh Street in Morgan City. The suspects gained entry into a rear door of the residence, armed with a brick and attempted to remove firearms from the residence, stated police. The suspects fled the scene as the homeowner returned home. During the investigation, detectives were able to obtain surveillance photographs of the suspects.

The first subject is described as a black male, approx. 6'1" in height, thin build, dread locks in hair, medium to dark complexion with a tattoo down the right forearm.

Second subject is described as black male, medium build and short hair.
