DeRidder police are searching for two men who robbed a credit union Tuesday. Officials say the suspects held up the Barksdale Federal Credit Union at gunpoint. The robbers got away with an undisclosed amount of money. One of the suspects hit a teller, but no one else was injured. The getaway truck was later found burned in Vernon Parish near the Beauregard/Vernon Parish line.

The suspects are described as black men with heights ranging between 5'9" and 6'0" tall with medium builds. They were wearing masks, hoodies, and gloves. Police say evidence suggests the suspects have ties to Eastern and Southeastern Texas. If you have any information on this robbery, call DeRidder police at 337-462-8911 or call Beauregard Parish Crime Stoppers at 1-800-273-1374.
