Police: Pedestrian Killed in Opelousas Was Walking to Hotel

Opelousas police say the man killed in a pedestrian accident Saturday night was walking back to his hotel when he was struck. A police spokesman says 20-year-old Tyler Viator of Moss Bluff was in town with his brother and friends to attend a concert at a nightclub. Investigators say Viator was kicked out of the club and was walking back to his hotel when he was killed. Police say they do not suspect foul play in the incident.
