State police say the driver of the tanker truck involved in the HazMat spill on I-49 north of LA 10 was not injured. Investigators say the truck ran off the road, and the tanker decabbed. The cab remained upright while the tanker flipped. Officials say the tanker was carrying 7000 gallons of methanol, which is a flammable substance.

All lanes from Exit 27 to Exit 40 are closed. State police have not issued a timetable for reopening the highway.
