Police Investigate Convenience Store Robbery

On January 8, 2010, at approximately 4:30 am, officers with the Lafayette Police Department responded to the Circle k, located at 3400 West Pinhook Road, regarding an armed robbery. The suspect entered the business with what appeared to be a shotgun wrapped in blue jeans. Once inside the business he demanded money, stole lottery tickets and a carton of Kool Cigarettes. The suspect then exited the store and entered what is believed to be a maroon Ford Taurus and fled the scene.
