Acadiana High School was on partial lockdown earlier this morning when two students from other high schools were caught on campus. Scott Police Chief Chad Leger says the students, 17-year-old Shatravin Hamilton and a 15-year-old juvenile, were spotted by a school resource officer. According to Leger, the teens initially cooperated with the officer, but they fled when the officer tried to contact their parents. They were caught a short time later in a nearby neighborhood. Leger says the pair would not explain why they were on Acadiana High's campus when questioned. Hamilton has been booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center. The juvenile has been sent to the Lafayette Juvenile Detention Center.
