Police identify car used in Hammond ATM theft

Hammond police say they have identified a vehicle possibly used in a burglary at the state Office of Motor Vehicles branch in which the vehicle backed into the building and left with an automated teller machine.
Police believe someone drove a white 2012 Nissan Altima into the building.
Police say the Altima was seen around 2 a.m. Tuesday leaving the parking lot of Times Square, where the office is located.
Albany police received a complaint at 6:20 a.m. Tuesday of a white 2012 Nissan Altima being stolen.
Investigators believe the vehicle reported stolen was the same one used in the burglary.
Police still do not have a description of the car's occupants.
