Police ID woman hit, killed on I-49

ALEXANDRIA, La. (AP) - Alexandria police have released the name of a woman who was hit and killed by a vehicle on Interstate 49 Saturday.
The Town Talk reports 21-year-old Ashley Quinn of Pineville died after she was struck by a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Lakeisha Chandler of Colfax around 5:45 a.m. Saturday.
Police say the accident occurred near Airbase Road on I-49.
Police and emergency officials found Quinn's body in the median, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
