Police Arrest Man for Allegedly Syphoning Gas from Cars

A Jennings man is charged with theft after police say he stole gasoline from vehicles outside a truck stop. Detectives say 24-year-old Erik Paul Guidry used a hose and an elaborate pump to syphen fuel from the gas tanks of other cars and into his vehicle. Officials also say they have linked Guidry to burglaries in Jeff Davis and Calcasieu Parishes.
